Here are some images I've done .

Most of these images were rendered with my ray tracer, Vivid. These first three consist of only 3 spheres each. The wonderful complexity of the images is due to the many levels of recursion used for the rendering. The same configuration of spheres and viewpoint was used for each. The only difference is the definition of the surface materials for the spheres.

These next three follow the same theme but with metallic materials.

These images show my efforts to create a shader that resulted in a woodcut look. I've seen similar things in 2d before but never 3d. The first image is the basic geometry. The second image shows the results as a woodcut. For the third image I added Perlin-style turbulence to the ground texture for an interesting look.

This is my left eye. What more can I say?
Another couple of random images. The stack of cubes I thought came out particularly 'real' looking.

The rest of these images are from my 'sphere phase'. Each image is made up of between a hundred thousand and several million spheres.
This is an image of a jade Buddha I did recently. The image incorporates hemispherical shading, subsurface scattering and a Fresnel-like reflectance model. I like the way it looks, too. The model itself is from Viewpoint.
